A dental speciality that pertains to diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dental problems in children from infancy through adolescence.

Regular checkups

The first tooth in a baby’s mouth erupts at the age of 6 months. From the tender age of 6 months, oral hygiene is important. Slight discoloration, tooth decay, crowding of teeth, early tooth loss should be addressed immediately as you find them in your children’s mouth. Our main goal is to build healthy oral habits and ensure a healthy, confident smile that lasts a lifetime.

Flouride treatments

It is a preventive dental procedure that helps to ensure the strength of enamel and prevent tooth decay. It helps to deposit fluoride in your teeth enamel which are resistant to acid and sugar attacking bacteria. It is especially beneficial to children, who are prone to dental caries in their baby teeth that this treatment will protect their permanent teeth as they gain extra protective fluoride layer. It can be done in adults too – when they have decayed or sensitive teeth.

Habit breaking appliances

They are special dental appliances used in children to stop bad oral habits that may affect the alignment of teeth and growth of jaws in the near future. The most common habits are thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, lip biting and mouth breathing. They can cause proclined teeth, crooked teeth, speech issues or open bites in the future. They can be fixed or removable kind which discourages the children to continue the habit.
