A dental crown is a customized tooth shaped cap that covers a weakened, damaged, broken, discolored, or root canal treated tooth, protecting the tooth and restoring its natural shape,size,colour,function and strength.
Whereas dental bridge is used to cover the gap left by missing tooth, by using the natural teeth or dental implants on either side of the gap as anchors/ support. Like crowns, this helps to replace one or more missing teeth and prevent the remaining teeth from shifting along with restoring it’s function.
