Flap surgery
Flap surgery is a gum treatment done in patients with advanced gingival disease called periodontitis. In this procedure, the gingival flap is lifted open for thorough cleaning of root and it’s surrounding areas. After removing the deposits and infection, the flap is sutured back to the original position for healing and reattachment.
Bone grafting
It is a regenerative periodontal treatment to rebuild the alveolar bone to support your tooth. When advanced gingival diseases lead to bone loss, it weakens the tooth and surrounding supporting tissues. Bone grafting helps to restore the strength and support of the alveolar bone and the teeth.
